Liliou is in desperate need of a special treatment that can combat this rare disease very well. Unfortunately, this treatment is not covered by health insurance.

An established treatment option is not available for my daughter given the pronounced initials. Despite numerous advances in cancer therapy, the treatment of rhabdomyosarcoma has remained unchanged over the past four decades, highlighting the urgent need for new and effective treatments. Equally important is the avoidance of therapies that show no promise, as they can lead to unnecessary burdens. Through the molecular genetic results from INFORM, outcomes can be corrected in individual cases, and genetic conditions with an increased risk of developing malignant tumors can be identified and analyzed. The results obtained at the end of the analyses serve as the basis for a medical recommendation for personalized follow-up treatment or participation in selected clinical trials. Such studies offer therapeutic options, even in the absence of approved medications. We must actively improve Lilou’s chances of survival and explore and implement new potential treatment approaches. It is our duty to do everything possible to help my daughter.
